Julius Olofsson is a writer from Sweden who lives in Stockholm but comes from a small town called Hjo near the lake of Vättern. He has worked as a copywriter and game writer and has both studied storytelling and lectured about it.

His writing traverses various genres and incorporates diverse subject matter, fusing the surreal with philosophical conundrums. Lately, he has been writing flash fiction, short stories and the occasional screenplay. He is currently working on his debut novel.

After writing in Swedish for years, Julius switched to English in the spring of 2022. He has since made the longlist of several prestigious competitions and has been published in a wide range of literary magazines. He is beginning to think that abandoning Swedish was a genius move.
